Brenda De Cock

Brenda L. De Cock began miming in 1993. As she watched a Christian mime perform at a local youth rally, she knew that this was her future. Brenda graduated Kelly Walsh High School in 1996, then attended Casper Community College where she received her AA in Theatre Performance. She went on to 3 years of intensive training with Mimeistry International School of Ministering Arts under the direction and mentoring of Master Mimes Todd and Marilyn Farley, located in Pasadena, California.

She majored in the art of mime with additional studies in dance, theatre and other movement arts including Mask creation and performance.
During this time she produced concerts, choreographed and toured with the school, and has also studied under the prestigious Master of Mime, Marcel Marceau of Paris, France. Brenda graduated the three-year program with honors in 2003, finishing as a Performance Journeyman. She has toured as a soloist throughout the United States for many years and has also performed internationally in Canada and Switzerland.
Now she is working on building her own ministry and business, Beyond Words M.I.M.E. It is Brenda's heart and desire that the gift of movement arts be restored from the back shelf and fulfill their role as a well-crafted tool to speak that which cannot be equaled with words alone.
